Colorado Springs Family Law Attorney John S. Nalley

Biography Overview

Andrew Bryant Law family law attorney John Nalley has over 18 years of experience. In 2018, he moved to Colorado Springs from Oklahoma, where he had practiced family law for over five years. He was attracted to the El Paso County area by its natural beauty and the year-round outdoor activities available.

Mr. Nalley attended Oklahoma City University School of Law in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, where he received his Juris Doctor in May 2012. He was admitted to the bar in September and opened his own law practice in Oklahoma the next month. While practicing in Oklahoma, he was also admitted to several tribal courts, where he represented Native Americans in family law cases.

Mr. Nalley earned his undergraduate degree in Political Science from East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma, in 2004. While there, he participated in on-campus political action groups and the Intercollegiate Legislature, where college students from across Oklahoma use the State Capitol to simulate the inner workings of state government. Mr. Nalley also served as a Representative, Senator, and student leader.

While attending law school and for eight years prior, Mr. Nalley was the managing paralegal for Crossroad Agencies, an Oklahoma firm providing legal services to clients facing divorce and custody issues. In that position, Mr. Nalley worked for several different attorneys over the years and was involved in thousands of family law cases. In short, he brings a wealth of family law experience to your case, with a decade of family law experience as a lawyer plus eight years as a paralegal before that.

Mr. Nalley has three adult children and one grandson, born in November 2017. In his spare time, he enjoys camping, fishing, exploring the backcountry on his ATV with his wife, Connie, and watching NFL football.
